What makes the difference
One system, one app
Every device, from switches to curtain motors and locks, in a single app with shared scenes, instead of a separate app per brand.
Wall switches that stay normal
Smart switches that fit Indian modular plates and work by hand like any switch, so guests and elders are never confused.
Local control first
Scenes and schedules run inside the home through the gateway, so the house keeps working during internet outages.
Voice and open standards
Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control, and Zigbee and Matter on supported products for future devices.
Installed, not just delivered
Design, concealed wiring, programming and handover training by one team, not a box left at the door.
Five years of cover
A 5-year warranty on products and installation, with support available around the clock.
Key terms, explained simply
- Smart home
- A home whose everyday devices are connected and can be controlled remotely or automatically. Home automation is how a smart home is planned, installed and made to work as one system.
- Home automation
- A system that lets lights, fans, curtains, locks, cameras, air conditioning and audio in a home be controlled together from one app, by voice, on a schedule or by sensors, instead of each device being switched separately.
- Gateway (hub)
- A small device that connects Zigbee or other wireless devices to your Wi-Fi and the app. It is the brain that runs scenes and schedules.
- Local control
- Automation that keeps running inside the home without the internet. Switches work by hand and local scenes and schedules continue even when Wi-Fi or the internet connection drops.
- Matter
- An open smart home standard supported by Amazon, Google, Apple and others, designed so devices from different brands work together. It reduces the risk of being locked into one company.
- Zigbee
- A low-power wireless standard used by many smart home devices. Devices form a mesh network with each other, so the signal reaches every room without relying only on Wi-Fi.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best smart home automation system in India?
One that controls lighting, fans, curtains, locks, cameras and climate from one app, works by hand and locally without the internet, fits Indian modular switch plates, supports Alexa, Google Home and Matter, and comes with installation and a written warranty. Bellavita designs its systems around these points.
Is a DIY smart home as good as an installed system?
DIY plugs and bulbs are fine for a lamp or two. For whole-home scenes, wall switches, curtains and locks, an installed system is more reliable, neater and supported as a whole.
Do smart homes work with Alexa and Google Home in India?
Yes. Bellavita products work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home on supported devices, in English and Hindi where the assistant supports it.
What is Matter and do I need it?
Matter is an open standard that lets devices from different brands work together. It is not essential today, but choosing a system that supports it keeps your options open.
How much does smart home automation cost in India?
It depends on the rooms, devices and finish. You can start with one room and extend. A free consultation gives you a quotation for your home.
Can smart home automation be added to an existing flat?
Yes. Retrofit smart switches and modules fit behind existing plates in most homes, with little or no wall breaking.
